Sunscreen Use Actually Causes Cancer

Interesting. Everything's bad for you.

Quote:
I've been saying this for years. Now the research is finally coming out to prove it: sunscreen use actually causes cancer, according to comprehensive new research published in the U.K.

There are two primary reasons why sunscreen causes cancer. First, and most importantly, the use of sunscreen blocks the skin from absorbing the sun's rays. That's what it's supposed to do, right? Yes, but in doing so, it also blocks the creation of all-essential vitamin D, the nutrient that the human body desperately needs to prevent as many as 25 chronic diseases. Notably: prostate cancer, breast cancer, osteoporosis, schizophrenia and heart disease.

It turns out that most people living in the Northern hemisphere (which probably includes you) are chronically deficient in vitamin D. By wearing sunscreen, they're depriving their bodies of perhaps the single most important nutrient they need to stay healthy.

The second reason sunscreen causes cancer is because it contains toxic chemicals in the form of artificial fragrance, chemical colors and petroleum products used as fillers and stabilizers. These chemicals are absorbed through the skin where they enter the bloodstream and wreak havoc on the immune system. Artificial fragrances, just by themselves, may contain dozens of carconigenic chemicals that damage the liver, the heart, and even promote systemic cancer.

Of course, the sunscreen manufacturers continue to deny all this while propagating the ridiculous myth that, "There's no such thing as a healthy tan." In reality, there's no such thing as a healthy pale person! A tan is a bonafide sign of good health, and a deep tan actually protects you from cancer.

All this has come out in this comprehensive new research report entitled, "Sunlight Robbery." To summarize the findings of the report, "To ensure optimum levels of vitamin D and optimum health people in the UK need to sunbathe whenever they can wearing as few clothes as possible while taking care not to burn. Vitamin D obtained from food provides only about 10% of our needs."

Well said. So much for the myth that sunshine is somehow bad for you.

What nonsense.

The human body produces vitamin D from sunlight. However, it's also present(along with vitamin A) in butter, non skimmed milk, cheese and other products and it gets added if need be.

Secondly, we don't walk around with sunscreen on our bodies 24/7/365, now do we?

So don't take these threats to serious.

CAN the use of sunscreen increase the chance on cancer? Yes. But it's hardly a big increase.

It is very bad when the truth comes out about a bad medication. Some medications may have faults and bad side effects that were not known before. You can also think about such recent cases such as: class action against Depakote.

What truth? The article quotes no source and it's a health freak website. Hardly a reliable source.

That article is fucking stupid. So it's saying that the only place one can get Vitamin D is through the sun's rays?

One week this will kill you, the next week, that will kill you. Eat egg yolks, don't eat egg yolks. Who gives a fuck? They're all full of shit and getting paid by someone to spout their bullshit.

Use sunscreen or don't. You won't die any sooner or later. You might get hit by a garbage truck.

Never been a fan of the non natural sun screens, If I don't understand what the ingredients in them are I am not putting that shit on my skin.

Active Serum Vitamin D Levels Are Inversely Correlated With Coronary Calcification

Effect of Vitamin D Deficiency and Replacement on Endothelial Function in Asymptomatic Subjects

There are studies of the affects of Vitamin D and D3 on arterial calcification (arteriosclerosis and CHD (Coronary Heart Disease))

There are also conflicting MDR amounts.

congratulations, you found a random website with a few sentences of info on it... be sure to catch all the nice ads they have up there too...

vitamin d deficiency is pretty common these days. a lot more people working indoors and avoiding the sun and polution have helped with that. it has zero to do with sun screen... especially considering most of us aren't surfers... As for healthy tans?? If you call sun damaged, aged skin and melanoma healthy more power to you. Sure most skin cancers are curable but if you don't catch it right away you are a goner.

Supplementation is debatable whether it is effective or not so if i had concerns I would try to get your vitamin d from foods as best you can instead.

vitamin d and calcium rich foods list:

Sometimes, you do not have any choice. I have very fair skin, and melanoma. When I grew up, we were slathered in oil. The concept of sunscreen is a pretty tough one to grasp. I do remember (most of the time) when I go for long rides through the desert, but even then . . .
