It's kind of ironic because the film was heavily criticized for being unrealistic but the whole thing in Japan reminds me of it quite a bit in many ways:

You would think that someone would have considered that a disaster of some sort could strike and that it may be difficult or impossible to get power for some time and that the generators could be unusable for whatever reason.

3)the u.s. is already at the emergency point for the storage of highly radioactive waste, and world wide this shit is going to lead to some major problems cuz other countries aren't even as diligent as the u.s. as far as nuke ops and waste disposal.

More likely that I will "glow in the dark" from that than from the radiation fallout that will reach me from Japan.

actually the link between earthquakes and tsunamis is relatively new, i believe it was the indonesian one that they discovered this.
