lol the turn away from the bar was a joke. It was on the news here and he said he only put the sign up because his rival bar down the street put up 'Canucks fans welcome', so he put up something like 'Bruins fans only' or something.

Two sides to every story, and I bet the same goes for the fans swarmed. Of course there are thugs everywhere who start shit because they're retarded, but for the most part it's hardly the horror story described.

Getting heckled wearing the opposing jersey in a passionate city during the Stanley Cup Finals is going to happen whether in Boston, Vancouver, or any other city outside of say Tampa Bay since their fan base is sleeping by 8:00pm. It's hardly newsworthy, but some bored writers ran with it to work up the fan base even more than they already were.

Vancouver fans jumped in to act like their shit doesn't stink and they'd never stoop that low yet riot days later when they lose. I'm sure 99% of real Vancouver fans are not like the idiots who caused the riot, but neither are 99% of Bruins fans.

It's the loud 1% that cause people to go to message boards using blanket statements like "Boston is full of class"

just watched a few quick clips of the riots.. this isn't a few punks... this is a giant collection of people getting involved in this shit... it is a fucking disgrace... It makes me ashamed to be Canadian watching this.

smashing the bank was pretty classy... I wonder how many people in the crowd have their money in the BMO... we only have like 3 or 4 banks in this country so not like they aren't using a major one already...

why did they attack the guy with the truck again? they set it on fire while he was in it... You wouldn't even want to see how I would react to that!

just in case anyone is wondering if you were arrested after having been read the Riot Act the max penalty is Life; nobody will get that max sentence though

if the riot act wasn't read the maximum is 2yrs in jail but from what I understand the Riot Act was read that night although im not certain
