Price of a website

how much would a site that generated $12,344.50 this year worth?

it's a webcam site/ whitelabel, 4 years old, 61k back links according to yahoo, all traffic from google, yahoo, bing etc and like 20% direct (1.2K/day) - no payed traffic, just free one

thanks in advance for your answers

If I owned it and wanted to sell I'd ask $5K for it.

Check and make sure that the sponsor will allow you to transfer ownership of the white label and your affiliate agreement rights if necessary.

You don't own the content on your domain.

Do you work 80 hours a week on it or 1 hour? Somewhere in between the two I suspect, but that will make a huge difference to the value

Some buyers pay 6 months revenue, some 12, some 3. In this market its a buyers market. Good luck.

it's not the content that matters, they are like 1 trillion wl's out there, other things make the difference.

you can always go with another sponsor

I can understand you wanting to get away from the PC, I'm pretty much chained to mine. You're making it sound like you do more than 0 hours on the site

Doing what? Seems like you've done something right...put more time into it or maybe build another one or two...then since you say you spend no time on it walk away and live that "life away from the PC" on the residual.

If I could create a site that earns that much per year on autopilot, I'd then try to make 50 more of them. Back onto the price of your site, 0 hours per week would certainly boost the price up, then it would also depend on the sales trend line

Roxxx - I think what everyone is saying is that if we had a site like that we would never sell it. It takes no work so you could walk away from your PC.

Why would you sell it now for $5k when you can just keep renewing the domain and in 5 years make $60 without doing anything?

The only way I could see a person doing that is if they had enough $$ to retire and just wanted to get rid of their sites.

Hi roxxx, your forgetting that you're on GFY so it's inevitable that you will get a few trolls posting.

To answer your question, If I were interested in buying a site with little to no work having to be done I would glady pay 8 - 12 months revenue for it.

If you're interested in selling your site I know someone who would be interested in buying.
