CNN running a big story on Reddit's "jailbait" section now
More attention and scrutiny that the Internet doesn't need right now. I was surprised to find out that the owner of Reddit is Conde Naste. They publish some pretty big magazines like Vanity Fair.

Why would a massive company like that not just turn it off?

They did turn it off for a while, then they spun Reddit off into another parent company or corp or something to make the connection less obvious, then they brought it back. Guess they didn't make it quite as secret as they were hoping.

People can now sell their own content or do work for hire shooting on reddit now, with nothing more than a pic and a user name attached to it as confirm. go figure.
