DUMeter ? Watching incoming/outgoing bandwidth

Do any of you use DUMeter or a tool like it?

To watch your local incoming and outgoing bandwidth??

Not on your server but your home comp?

I am looking to maybe try something different than DUMeter or something with more features.

Was just hoping that someone here might have a recommendation.

Many reasons...

to check on connectivity issues and performance

to log overall up/down usage over time

etc, etc.

Mrtg, which is probably used on your server, can also be installed on Windows and watch amy or all ports on your router. That may be helpful if, like most webmasters, you have more than one computer or other device.

Designed to be flexible and powerful, it's not a one click install on Windows as it might be with the default configuration included in some Linux packages.

I'm assuming since you said "not for a server" that means "not for a network OS", meaning "for Windows". Obviously if you had a network OS on the desktop as we do, you'd just set up monitoring the same way your would if you were using it for a server, a DVR, or any other purpose.
