In support of Brazzers>>> Way to go..

I believe it was in 2005 or 2006 Three guys flew down from Canada to have a meeting with producers like myself and introduced themselves as the Brazzer's team. I believe they had six employees at the time. One of them was Stephan Manos. We had a meeting at the Universal Hilton and discussed shoots, budgets and plans. Soon after I was the second producer working for them. At first they just had a few sites and my first shoot was for "Baby got boobs" with Brandy Taylor. He was far from the typical porn owner, a very nice guy that knew the internet and had no idea about producing porn all he knew he wanted the best that could possible be produced and was not worried about the budget. The first shoot grew into 10 a month, then 30 a month and then 40 a month. As a producer they are the perfect client. Deliver the goods that are what they want and get paid well and on time. In fact they paid 100% in full before the shoots and never questioned the invoices. There is a great trust. Soon the company grew and their dreams and demands increased. They added sites and tried new areas of the internet. I was always amazed and enjoyed working for them. The next time I met with Steven he had close to 125 employees and everyday a team of script writers would send scripts and scene descriptions, trust me it made things a lot easier to work with. I was proud to work for them and still are. I have been a content supplier since 30 years, I took my first nude when I was well below the legal age, (15). In the past years my clients have been a slew of A list clients including, Vogue, Glamour, Penthouse , Hustler, Score, Bang Bros, Porn.com, Twistys, EuroRevenue, Private, and a ton of smaller companies. By far Brazzers has raised the bar for content production and it has paid off. I knew they were investing millions into their product and creating a brand. I have heard all the discussions about tube sites ruining online porn but as Mr. Larry Flynt has stated "Water is free from the tap, but people continue to make it a billion dollar industry" Brazzers hasn't ruined online porn, poor production and cheap owners have by not moving forward and exploring different areas. Has Goldman Sachs ruined the banking industry? We continue to support them and pay the same people huge money to get us out of the financial jam that they got us in. Big business is just what it is big business, that is the way of the world so get use to it and think bigger then your pea sized brains tell you to do. Brazzers did, so why not you... good on you Stephan and good on you Fabien....

I guess it doesn't matter that their built their traffic in part by stealing scenes made by your fellow producers?

Pretty much exactly it.

It's funny to watch old Dinosaurs like Paul Markham telling the new, more successful generation what's up.

hate them or not.. they built a pretty big empire in a very short amount of time and they did it post 2004..

i have come to realize that being a pirate is really the way to go..

look at the guys running carding operations for years now and not one bit of trouble..

look at the guys blatantly stealing content and as long as its not gay, the studios etc dont do shit...

look at the nutri market that commits outright frauds and all they get is a little FTC fine...

crime does pay...

Ok I read the post even though my eyes are burning. And I do agree. Half these guys complaining do not understand that they were once in a time when they had to push the envelope to make their money.

Business is not about doing what people think is proper. It is about making money. The only people that ever complain are the ones that missed the boat and are not intelligent enough to adapt to changing markets.

Meanwhile they were the same ones when they were making bank that were being hated on by the "community". Times change and people only whine when it effects them directly.

And what are these different areas besides operating tubes loaded with stolen content and getting away with it due to the DMCA loophole? I don't get that part. Explain.

I don't think you get that most people would have no issue with them if they were making the full scene content they licensed from you available for free. People have issues with them because their tubes are loaded with stuff which they haven't paid for. People have issues with the theft because it harms them and their business. It's not because they bought up this company or that company. It has little to do with operating a tube in itself or the technology behind it. The issue is the stolen content on the tube and the policies which perpetuate it. I frankly don't care if they are wanting to sell ads for tampons on PornHub in order to break into mainstream or whatever. More power to them. I could care less. Just get the stolen content off the tubes and start changing your policies to discourage it more. What's so hard about that and if you're so successful in your other ventures and if piracy isn't the reason for your success why the hell wouldn't you do this?

Cool story bro. Bobby Manila agrees.

But you missed the part about the feds freezing $6.4 Million of their money. Feds say it was money laundering, but I'm sure it was just a big misunderstanding being that the old owner are such stand up dudes and all.

It would be a great start. I don't think anyone thinks they will ever be able to allow user uploads and keep all stolen content off. But if they just implemented the type of policies YouTube has to discourage it then that would go a long way. Just an honest effort is all that many of us are asking for. That's it. I'm not asking that they shut it all down, stop user uploads and open a text based TGP here. Just some reasonable policies.

Who knows. They are pretty big. Maybe if they did it and used their clout they could get some of the worst offenders shut down by cutting off their revenue stream. I don't think they'll do it. Honestly I believe they WANT to put 90% of the guys here out of business and they know full well what they are doing. But maybe I'm wrong, eh?

Well, as a Jug Cash affiliate since they first started I can answer that: It doesn't sell all that great. And quite frankly I've never figured that out. Before piracy completely exploded to new heights back in 2008 and skyrocketed from there to what we have now...Jug Cash was always one of my "middle" programs I promoted. It was good for 50 or so signups a month.

Now? It's pathetic. And the fucked up part is...I've always thought their big tit content was some of the best. BUT...it is pretty generic, which is probably the reason it never was considered to be a monster for sales the way that Nasty Dollars was back in the day (I could get 70 signups a day with Milf Hunter back when it first came out)

None of us know what money they make of course. But I too have wondered...if they truly are kicking ass with Brazzers, then why take all this heat over all those tubes they own full of stolen content? Answer: Because Pornhub makes more money than Brazzers.

And with Brazzers there is a lot of overhead. Pornhub, Keez, and all the other ones they bought over the last few months? None. It's a fucking script for God's sake. lol

They don't pay for the content...hosting is cheap...prepaid ad spots are lucrative (believe me, I know)...and their Streamate white label cam site "pornhublive" probably makes them more money in a week than most of you make in a year. Then add on their white label Premium site "pornhubpremium" (I think it's a videosz white label? could be wrong) and you are talking a LOT of fucking money being made off the traffic being drawn with stolen content.

Unfortunately that analogy has nothing at all to do with the adult industry.

DWB, seriously... you really need to stop commenting on things you have no clue about. There is some producer that gets into a legal fight with us, that shot maybe 20 or so scenes for us (I do not know the number, it might be 5 or 1 or 10 or 50 for all I care, its very little though)... You do realize that we have had many producers, most of which we have had for a LONG time, and none of them seem to be complaining? In contrary, one of them is actually posting on this board and saying very nice and good things about us... Heck, Brazzers has over 3000 scenes... We did not see eye to eye with Bobby Manila and its nobodies business what happened other than his and ours...

And the 6.4m seizure, seriously... the feds say they had no money transmitting license, which they claim was needed, the money laundering thing was mentioned in articles as to the funds originating from countries often conntected to "money laundering"... Like Israel... oh, in case you did not know, one of the biggest merchant banks back then was in... you got it, ISRAEL!

At some point, even you have to accept that all the conspiracy theories flying around are bullshit...

It was good for 50 or so signups a month.

Now? It's pathetic. And the fucked up part is...I've always thought their big tit content was some of the best. BUT...it is pretty generic, which is probably the reason it never was considered to be a monster for sales the way that Nasty Dollars was back in the day (I could get 70 signups a day with Milf Hunter back when it first came out)
Yes, you are right! We make no money with Brazzers! You got me You are the king of big tits after all! 70 signups a day, I'M SHOCKED?! That is possible?! That people do not understand that not all traffic comes equal, is sad...

Milf Hunter, great site though... like anything Nasty Dollars...

But yes yes, 70 sales a day, god how is that possible... you must clearly be making this one up! Proof or it didn't happen!

Quote:
None of us know what money they make of course. But I too have wondered...if they truly are kicking ass with Brazzers, then why take all this heat over all those tubes they own full of stolen content? Answer: Because Pornhub makes more money than Brazzers.
Uhm, no... Answer: because BOTH make money... what kind of stupid question is that... Why do you have more sites than one? _You_ are the one that thinks its bad heat that we own those tubes.. I'm not seeing that at all.. It's like 15 people that complain, and out of those multiple people have changed to a much friendlier tone with me over the past weeks...

Quote:
And with Brazzers there is a lot of overhead. Pornhub, Keez, and all the other ones they bought over the last few months? None. It's a fucking script for God's sake. lol

They don't pay for the content...hosting is cheap...prepaid ad spots are lucrative (believe me, I know)
Right, we do not pay for "the content" ... I have to figure out where that million dollars went to I signed for the other day.. clearly someone is filling their own pockets... Then again, the DVD shipments we get each week clearly must be coming from somewhere...
And yes, hosting is cheap.. totally... Since its so cheap, could you do me a favor and pay the newest bill we got? 70 signups a day after all... Could you tell me where it will be coming from so I can tell the host? And give me the address to send the bill to...

70 signups a day... oh my god...

Quote:
...and their Streamate white label cam site "pornhublive" probably makes them more money in a week than most of you make in a year. Then add on their white label Premium site "pornhubpremium" (I think it's a videosz white label? could be wrong) and you are talking a LOT of fucking money being made off the traffic being drawn with stolen content.
You are wrong, as you are so often.. it's a MovieBox white label.. Its our own site.

Can you teach me how to get 70 signups a day?

Love you Robbie...

no conspiracy at all, but 24h security guys tell different story about whole bussines of those guys. yeah, i know 24h security, it must be probably some kind of big .
If I needed 24h security guys around me, i would for sure quit that bussines or at least hide as much as possible, while pretending to be a charity kind of guy

No, no conspiracy at all, you just seem to think the only reason one might need 24h security is if you are in some kind of shady business... Why is that? I see plenty of other reasons why one might want security...

Damn we were doing 50 a day on average and on a nice promo day we did 200+ ;)

As of late Brazzers ratios are going a bit down for us too though, however rebills are still HUGE

Nice story Nicky.

Nicky is good people and a class act. Don't slam the guy because he shares a positive experience with a client.

Brazzers do have some of the very best scenes on the net. That is because they pay what ever it takes to get the very best scene results.

They contract the best male talent, they hire the best girls, they contract the best photogs, they contract the best video directors, they have good script writers and they budget for what ever props the scene needs to be what ever quality they are shooting it for.

To me that is a dream client. A client that gives you the money to turn out the very best scene possible. Not "thats the budget, make it work".

I make great things happen with shit budgets. If i had a Brazzers budget, i would be making everyones head turn.

I am friends with all of the LA Brazzers shooters and they are all happy and enjoy working for Brazzers.

And as far as Bobby Manilla is concerned, I know him very well and he would definitely let me speak on his behalf on this subject; Bobby has nothing bad to say about Brazzers. He has only spoken highly about Brazzers every time the Brazzers subject has come up. In fact he says that they are a stellar company to work for and that they really do take care of their employees.

The next time they hire shooters, thats where i would defiantly want to go.They shoot a lot and give good budgets for high quality content. My quality standard matches theirs (they give a shit). Whats not to like from a content shooters prospective?

But But, Dave... Paul says our videos all suck (thx for the nice post)

Oh I am so confused...

Roald, btw.. 50 sales a day, no way, I do not believe you, if Robbie-Big-Tits-God can only do 50 a month, something must be wrong!

On a more serious note, we have new sites planned btw, maybe that will help increase your sales again... a few weeks out I think...

Too funny!

You, I and the rest of the internet knows that Paul is on his own with his judgement on what quality is or is not, statements.

But even you got to admit Paul is a pretty entertaining read. Reading some of his posts leaves me thinking like WTF Is this guy trying to say??? What the hell is he thinking? Is that schizophrenia setting in? Or Alzheimer's?

Reading some of his GFY posts is like reading a Fantasy comic book in fantasy land.

Didn't that happen long before you were involved Nathan? Not sure why you would even comment on this.

It's funny a little comment like "Bobby Manila agrees" could get you so worked up. You should do yoga or something.

Lots of companies use banks in Israel to process large amounts of money, yet none of them have their money frozen by the feds. Usually the people who have money seized are into something shady. Just sayin.

But I'm sure they have released the money now that the misunderstanding is all cleared up, right?

Don't even answer, it's really not worth your time to write it all out. Everyone knows the answer.

I don't know of any conspiracy theories. I only know a fact, and that's when the feds seize your money, ya done goofed.

Of course I know this is not your money and you had no involvement at that time, but since the OP's story was mostly discussing the old guys, my comments are relevant.

Seriously man, stick to defending your position as the new owner. You're better at that. Leave the old issues alone, because it discredits you when you try to make excuses for those guys, who have been caught in the past flat out lying to people. They did what they did, made some mistakes, and it is what it is. You're better off not even discussing those things.

not blaming brazzers, just sayin' ya' all had a hand in it.
That was the good old days. The days when a solo girl set was worth $4,000 and sometimes more for the shooter. AND WE STILL OWN.

It's funny reading people telling me I missed the boat or am old school while they kiss the ass of a guy who buys in a BG scene for a lot less and buys it outright. JustDave, you missed the boat sweetheart and reading some of your post are very funny. I'm sitting back on 3,550+ sets and videos WE OWN and still bringing in money. Good luck to you when you're 60 and want to retire.

But some of your videos do suck. So many elementary mistakes it's scary. Even the good stuff wasn't that good, just average.

Brazzers Golfing

Bad structure, bad format, bad framing, bad acting and in total a turn off. If you spent "what needs to be spent" on that scene. You were robbed.

With the money you are supposed to have Brazzers should be turning out far better content than this.

Nicky1952 ICQ me your real name and I'll ask some contacts who you are and what you did for some of these companies. I can post here is the names you quoted are people who know you or not. And verify your boasts, hell I might even know you.

not hard to do and many would do the same IF they were making millions off the back of everybody else in the industry with tube sites featuring content they didn't pay a penny for.

corner the market in adult traffic, 'steal' content from your competitors, cripple them, then with your coffers full of cash the final indignity, you outspend them 4:1 producing content your competitors can't afford.

NOT a fucking original thing on Brazzers, all done before them by NaughtyAmerica who were the first to transition from Bangbros/RK style 'reality' content to niched out vignette/story themed sites/scenes. With their tube money they could afford to do what NaughtyAmerica staked out years ago but with far better production values. NaughtyAmerica started NaughtyAmericaLive ........... what do you know, a year later BrazzersLive.

Before the flood of cash that the tube sites brought in - JuggCash and early Brazzers -
take a look at that content, mediocre crap. Given enough of a budget there are lots of shooters who could produce the same or better than Brazzers.

I actually am touchy today :/ thx for caring... Got an important day ahead of myself, both personal and biz.

The reason I commented is because Manwin gets linked to the crap and i guess I hate that. I can sadly not comment about what I know in detail... Which is why I sometimes mention I will write a small book about the happenings at some point in time. People I am sure would be interested... And even if you claim you are not, you would still read it...

There is far less to all these things than you think though... And the us gov seizes money on a hunch sometimes too...
