That's not exactly what I am saying...I have nothing against elevatedX or any CMS programs. I currently use another CMS solution that I have become disenchanted with. My point was for a start up paysite that may have some traffic and to get some really useful tools that ElevatedX offers may take up a good percentage of your budget. What percentage of your monthly income should go to a CMS provider? If you are spending $250-400 a month for a dedicated server, $400 month for traffic, and $250 a month for CMS that adds up to about $900-1050 a month just in operating costs. If your site is only producing $1500-$2000 a month(I know small money) that is 50% going out the door to providers. Realistically what do you think the operating costs of a web business should be? 25%? I'm curious. CMS is definitely helpful but what solution would you recommend?

Ease of use - Wordpress or Joomla

Want to own the world? Drupal

All 3 are free. If you can provide support to yourself, that is.
