Agreed. Its almost like he's playing a practical joke on everyone..Like how Borat pretended to be a journalist, Reynolds pretends to be an actor. This difference is Cohen is genius and Reynolds is...just bad.

A buddy of mine made it big (Metcalf) but he admits he sucks at acting. He laughs about the cash he gets paid "Can you believe these idiots pay me to act" I bet Reynolds knows how bad he sucks.

Everyone's been raving about Brad Pitt's "performance of a career" in Moneyball. Well I saw Moneyball, and it felt like I was really watching the manager of a baseball team who had all of the telltale mannerisms of Brad Pitt.

Marky Mark was good in Boogie Nights. But then that was the first Marky Mark performance I had seen, so I didn't yet have the knowledge that he would be Marky Mark in every movie after that.

He was good in Van Wilder, and he was also good in Just Friends, but Anna Farris stole the show in that one, and Julie Haggarty was funny as fuck.

The thing with Ryan Reynolds, is that he is pretty one dimensional, but as long as he is doing what he does best, (sarcastic one liners) he does a pretty good job. Besides, he utters one of my favorite movie insults of all time, in Blade 3 (not the greatest movie in the series) when he calls Parker Posie a "Cock juggling Thunder Cunt"

good point, but he really isn't all that bad when he stays within the range of his abilities though. Not all actors need to be able to have huge ranges to be good. Harrison ford hasn't strayed much from Han solo in the last 30 years and nobody complains about his performances.

As for Brad Pitt, what is with all the hate with this guy? He's come a long way from all that pretty boy shit and still people can't get over the fact that girls like him? He's not Robert Redford no, but he does play a good range of different characters and does it really well, what else you need in a movie?

Reynolds is bad and does bad movies, that's the biggest difference. If he keeps doing them he will fizzle out just as fast as he came in.
