You just described about 99% of football players and probably the sport itself. Suarez is the best player Liverpool has, doesn't matter who supports him. He is from Uruguay, and we have more world cups than England. And one of the best up-and-coming young strikers in the world. But, I do agree he does come off as a prick and he has developed a pretty bad reputation.

I don't doubt his skills, i just wish he would change his ways. Then maybe more people would take to him. Like i say, Messi for example just gets on with things. Even Ronaldo let's himself down with the way he acts much of the time.

I'm actually expecting to be going crazy watching Drogba in this Champions League final tonight...

Uh, Uruguay 4th place in the World Cup and they could (should) have gone on to win it all. Plus they just won the America Cup, knocking off Argentina playing with one less player almost the entire game. No good national team has mediocre players, that's why they are a selection of the best.

Should have, would have, could have. Uruguay last won a world cup in what, 1940 or 50? Hell they failed to qualify a few times in the last 20 years.

Hmmm...
Yeah I think it's hard to see beyond Argentina, even if they play better for their club sides, than they do with their National side...

URAGAY is ok... no one else really stands out way ahead of anyone else...

And like some of the wise words spoken in this thread, it's no good having a couple of strikers who score you 2 or 3 goals when you have a defense that leaks 3 or 4...
