I use my Google Voice number pretty much exclusively. This way I make calls and texts from any device...laptop, desktop, tablet or phone.
Sprint and Google have some deal and mine is integrated into my Sprint account. I use my main number for family and everyone else has my Google Voice number. |

Yes i use on my phone and tablet. This Android App allows you to make and receive calls over Wi-Fi directly:

Somehow I was able to get 2 different numbers from GV on two different emails to one number.
I use it and like it, I have noticed every once in awhile someone will call and my phone wont ring.

You cannot receive/send pics or videos (MMS) on Google Voice unless you have it integrated with Sprint.
