When you google that you come up with link after link after link of Aaron Jacques / gideongallery defending piracy and even involved in lawsuits (Mattel)

Aaron Jacques / gideongallery is truly one of the bad guys. Not one redeeming thing can be found when you google "Aaron Jacques On GFY"

I agree, most people can't relate or understand to what we lose with all the piracy or what the big deal is. Even my friends who are not in the biz are either neutral or disinterested in anything being done about it

Exactly...they just see "free" and don't consider anything else.

I was the same way the first time (12 years ago) that someone told me I could get software for "free".

But then a friend of mine pointed out that if I really liked that software I would pay for it because I was stealing. Once I heard that...I NEVER even considered getting something for "free" again.

I have a guy who owns a mainstream wordpress site and I do the updates for him, He sent me an email asking me to copy a whole load of text and pics from another website and put it on his site. When i emailed him back and said sorry i couldent do that unless he gets permission from the owner, he was shocked at my reply and could not understand why i couldent do it. When i explained about copyright laws he replied by saying copy the website banner( he meant the whole header of the site ) and put it under all the pics and text which he wanted to use from thier site, and it would be ok. I couldent believe he just could not understand the concept of using somebody elses work as stealing.

You'll find that, more often then not, those leading the witch hunts and pointing fingers at everyone else have the skeletons in their closet or something to hide back at their glass house. It's been proven time and again on GFY over the years.
