Awesome rig I wanted to try something different so went with the white case. I'll also move the fans to the front when I get time.

I was a little pissed that I couldn't set-up the H100 in push-pull. Think I'm going to get some scythe slipstream fans and do it that way, otherwise case is really good so far.

Awesome rig man.
At first glance I thought it resembled the one I have sitting in my closet till I scrolled over and seen it was way shorter them mine in size, I have a Silverstone Raven 2 I picked up about a year ago over at Amazon for 127.00 with free shipping.
Case goes for 200.00 US in allot of places.

Will be bookmarking this thread for some pointers on my next build in the coming months...

I've only slightly pushed this to 4.6Ghz, Plenty of people have done 5 Ghz plus np's.

Main reason is heat (runs cooler on the bottom) and cable management. Most of the cheaper styled cases still have it at the top, but I prefer bottom mounted psu's.

Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra Case

"Cooler Master Storm Stryker" is a very nice case.

Here is one of our supercomputers at fetishwealth for our video stuff. It all nicely fits
inside Rosewill BlackHawk Ultra case. It's a GIANT!!

It has 18 fans w/ cover installed.. So no problem with cooling.

You might ask why someone would need 96gb of ram, well when rendering a AE project it's uses all of the memory (93gb).

It cost around $7k to build, I built the same computer online at the apple store and I stopped building it once the total reached $13k and It was 3/4 complete.
Apple products are so overpriced for the same stuff.

It doesn't take long at all, you can put together one in about 30 minutes...maybe an hour if you want to have clean cabling and all that.

I've been building PCs for awhile and I love it...it's great to be able to pick what parts you want and customize it exactly to your liking....all at a much cheaper price then buying prebuilt (or a mac)

I think it's one of the most important things to do. Nothing worse then a nice looking case and wiring everywhere and anywhere inside lol.

Took me about 3 hrs to get this together, mainly because it's a new case and I wanted to get everything together properly the first time.

I agree on building your own system, There's nothing better then putting it all together and having it work.

Up until a few years ago I always got a mate to do all my pc work, but he moved away and well I figured it was time I learn't how to do it.

I'll pick one up off EBay

No, I stole it...

Lot easier to steal a one-piece box from the apple store, than to steal many different parts from various stores...
