A neighbor of mine has a Monte SS in her basement which is a high mileage car but which is also in excellent overall condition. I think I can get it for $2500 or less because it hasn't been driven in about 6 yrs and will take a lot of little shit to get running again. I think I ought to buy it though.

1967 Chevy Impala 283

Same here, My first car was a 67 Impala SS convertible. but was baby blue with white bucket seats and I had two 18" Subs in it

I traded it in on a Mustang, and stuck with Getting Mustang 5.0's for a while, then moved to Eclipses, Now that I'm grown up I drive Mercedes Benz.

That car is sweet!

Fiat Panda! I had forgotten about that car. While I was living in Germany, I had a friend who drove one just like that white one. Cramped, but good for getting around (barely) and no guts at all.

Was the same colour, bought it off a little old lady in '94 and it had the original tyres on it still and they were rock hard and it was like driving on ice with them on the car.

1976 Plymouth Duster. I loved that car. There might be pics here from years ago, but I have to upload now. That car went in a straight line like hell-fire and brimstone. With drum brakes at all four wheels, the fucking thing wouldn't stop, but HEY! who gives a shit about stopping as long as you can go go go!!!???

My most insane car was a Carrol Shelby signature Dodge Omni GLH-S. Let go of the steering wheel. Floor the gas. Turn right ninety degrees instantly, and hit 60mph in under seven seconds. Fucking insane.

Useless, but nuts. I wish I still had that car, but it blew up and burned to the ground. Yes, Chrysler (and poor old Carroll) really sucked ass in the '80s. And unllike (like?) most Shelbys, you can buy one today for less than the scrap metal its made out of.

A fire-breathing piece of shit. It wouldn't turn, it wouldn't stop, and it wouldn't even accelerate in a straight line. Useless.

Renault 5 for me with snow tyres when I used to live in the French Alps, one almost like this car.
Was fun going up and down on snowy roads but shit on long journeys back to England.

your right, that beast with 5900 cmc will go broke everyone who is unlucky to drive it. But it`s a great car overall.

When you had that New Yorker station wagon, you had a rare one! There were only 1,344 nine-passengers (Folding rear seat in the trunk well) built and a mere 950 6 passengers constructed.

Me LOVES 426 wedges but today unless you realy want to spend a ton for a real one, a built up 440 does the job to the max.

Agreed

Here's mine, a blue Audi 80, cost me £400 & nearly £800 insurance. I bought & paid for it out of my own money at the age of 17, just a month after my birthday.

I past my test within 2 weeks of my birthday after taking lots of lessons. I passed first time with the chief instructor of Bedfordshire as my examiner

This is the beauty I bough when I was 15 for $300. Blew the engine before I could even legally drive.

Not mine but very close. 1960 VW I bought for $200 from an old German Tool Maker that was a friend of the family. It was powder blue... I worked for a summer to make some extra cash to get it painted a metalflake green and put on the cragar mags.

Motor was stock...72mph top speed with a tailwind.

1966 Mustang

Just like this one... Same color, same wheels. Mine had the chrome horse emblem in the grill.

Also have a 1966 Mustang in my garage right now, except it is blue and needs a new paint job. Restoration project.

1974 Pontiac Gran Prix SJ455

One of my favorite cars I owned too! (and I have had 20+ cars)

A TOTAL BEAST - but drove like riding on a cloud!
