more like mmm honey, maybe we can keep bees and farm the honey instead of hunting for it in the wild

There were beehives at my secondary school belonging to one of the physics teachers.

We did have a lesson about why they were kept and i'm sure it was to do with honey being the only thing people knew to use as a sweetener. Sugar as a refined cooking ingredient is a lot more recent thing.

I bought some lime marmalade at an agricultural show a couple of years ago that had been made using honey instead of sugar. Was really nice

Honey is awesome stuff. It's antibacterial, so you can spread it on a wound to keep it clean. Also great as a source of sugar, energy, etc. Also - no crops without bees If you are sending a group of guys up a tree in the forest once a month to go raid a wild bees nest for honey, wouldn't it make sense to keep those bees in a box that you could access easily?

Also very good for removing the sting from a burn.

Its really sweet that you and a few guys are calling me 'Honey'... & I'm genuinely touched by it..

However, (All love for me aside) if I saw a few sharks in the sea, and I thought - These things could bite and hurt me - I wouldn't be thinking 'Hmmmm I'll keep a few of them'... ?

My uncle was a beekeeper, and he had a way of handling them without getting stung. I've seen him pick up a hive and have bees crawing on his hand. They would sting other people who tried it, however.

When I drive through rural areas, I always keep an eye out for people selling honey on the side of the road. It is jsut so damn good! Buy a few kilos at a time
