No way. If you think that is a red card then you've never played the game. A free kick MAYBE!! Nani was looking at the ball the whole time and just trying to control it. Furthermore, as a defender coming into a players 'blind spot', you know you are open to get creamed ... It's the same as taking on a keeper who is clearing the ball.

I probably played the game longer than you have.

Doesn't matter if he intended to hurt him or not, you jump that high with ur studs showing, they land on the other player s chest ....that s the red card (dangerous play)

It was an easy decision in my book. Everytime u re showing ur studs u re taking a huge risk...this time they landed in arbeloa's Rib cage...
