Once again agree 100% and as I said, I am moving into full time video production, it's actually the only reason I looked at coming back int production, I was alerted to some speed ups, and diff software to use, popped back into production made 1 quick mini package to gauge the results, started working with the video stuff and decided I had to make the switch!

Over the next few months once I get back on my feet I'll be releasing at least 1 new video package a month (unless I'm tied up making exclusive content that is)

Maybe you no read so good ;) it has ALWAYS been profitable for me, I stopped producing for the last 2 years and THAT is when all hell broke loose in my life

I came BACK to make the switch to videos as the profits are even higher with videos and there's little to no one filling the orders.

The money IS / WILL be there as long as I KEEP / START making the content again.

I don't normally "feed trolls" as they say, BUT you post had me in stiches....

In your mind, when I come here once a year in the past to hold a sale THAT = begging for money. with that logic the buy/sell forum is FILLED with ppl begging for money.

2 years ago I posted a "closing down" sale, I did not beg for money nor did I need any at that time, instead I wanted to give ppl one last shot to pick up my stuff for their sites before I left the industry. (However like everyone I came back lol)

As for never, ever, ever, EVER listening to anyone, that's just absurd, look at Brent from 3DX say how I need to do videos and I came back to do JUST THAT.

People ask me if I've done ______ and YES I have done _______

I actually listen to people more then I should sometimes lol.

Your personal marketing strategy is kind of strange. On one hand, you say how great you are. On the other hand, you say you are completely broke (indicative of not being great.)

Whether you are great or not, I have no clue, but your personal marketing strategy is a huge conflict with itself. Either run with the great factor and get jobs because you are great at what you do, or be humble and run with the broke factor and get some jobs to help you out and get you on your feet again.

What you should be doing, instead of arguing with people over your greatness, is contacting every single person that runs a 3-D site of any sort and offer them a great deal to get the cash you need. I can think of two potential buyers, that make a lot of money from 3-D, right off the top of my head and I'm not involved with 3-D at all.

Find them, contact them, offer them a killer deal, get back on your feet.

sly, I agree you with most of your post, and have done that over and over, (hell I lost count of all the emails I've sent to top Bucks since you guys debuted your toon stuff, NEVER EVER got ANY reply from anyone) I remember sending out hundreds of emails to companies that do 3D in some shape or form, and at best 2 replies come back., I also hardly fill those cold calls with links and instead just try to open the lines of communication with companies.

that trend continued more and more over the months before I left 2 years ago because everyone ONLY wanted Video content and I did not make video content, and new things like bounced emails, dead domains etc etc cropped up.

Again Sly, I QUIT 2 years ago, did not produce or attempt to sell ANYTHING since 2011. during the past 2 years I literally lost EVERY bit of my savings due to a number of things, none had anything to do with 3D toons, or how great I may or may not be.

I came back not even 3 weeks ago, made a new package and sold it to a few companies already but when you are having to start over financially from 0 a few micro sales don't save you.

I will once again contact all the companies in 3D and toons in the coming months but only when I have something they want, because anything else is just insanity right?

True story, I pitched that EXACT idea to a few of the larger companies back in 2008 - 2009 and they straight up LAUGHED, I ALMOST went ahead and made packages anyway but second guessed myself.

Also wanted to do a series of solo sites complete with cam shows (recorded of course) daily blog, etc etc, I still may do the solo site concept one day I think it could be a huge draw IF done correctly.....

Imagine a 3D Toon solo site where the members tell the "model" what they want to see, and within a short time that content goes up, it could be treated exactly like a real girl solo site just with the twist of it being 3D Toons.

On novelty alone it would make decent money, the long term money would come from the user interactivity you give the members when you allow them to 'direct' the model.

(Any one runs with that give me a damn cut lol)

Of course he should get it. His family and he have been no doubt paying into it since the 30's if they're been Americans for that long.

When I got foodstamps, all I had to do was apply online then send them pay stubs and lease (they sent the card within 2 days anyway without proof of income and expense). Welfare has emergency aid where you can get it same day if you have an actual eviction notice. Varies by state.

Thanks, I can't get into any of the details at this time (for fear of the Ukrainian hitmen paying me a vist lol inside joke)

But something similar to this was actually in the works for the past 6 months, and some things happened and the project needed to be retooled and because of the retooling I've removed myself from it for the time being as I do not possess the skills needed at this stage of the project to be useful (I'm soooo not a programmer).

Once we hit the stage where I can talk openly without the hitmen coming to get me lol I will deff hit you up and fill you in, and see where you can fit into that project.

Not to bash on that work I personally LOVE IT, but the stuff that Max and the D Dub crew makes is SUPPOSED to look that way, they never wanted to make stuff that looked "too" or "close" to human, and therefore went a more "toony" look and feel.

Where most of us strive to get as human as possible, it's two very different styles that's all, no need to hate on either

Now that's interesting stuff. I don't see the point of doing CG if it's not something weird and fantastical. Basically something that can't be achieved with a live shoot.

I'm going to give you some advice here for free Loki ....

I've always been a fan of the stuff you do, and I think you are very talented, but you lack the marketing skills.

Why not take orders for 3-D logos and such ... add-on graphics sets that people can use as they wish on their sites .... and start an affiliate program paying your affiliates like 25% of what they sell?

Let your affiliates be your sales force, letting you focus on what you are good at - which is CREATING the artwork!

His family and he have been no doubt paying into it since the 30's if they're been Americans for that long. When I got foodstamps, all I had to do was apply online then send them pay stubs and lease (they sent the card within 2 days anyway without proof of income and expense).
