Is there a good site for freeware?
I remember back in the day it was easy to get simple little programs that were very useful.
Now they seem to come with adware, malware, ..sometimes its a bad as visiting a porn site. Is there any site that lets a person download freeware without the shit? |

There are a lot of good freeware sits out there, but it's really the developers or publishers who push the extra crap on you a lot of the time.
Always do manual installs and uncheck all the toolbars and BS that they try to get you to install. What sort of programs are you looking for?

When i was still on windows,i was using only this:
http://portableapps.com/ This is good because programs dont actually install,all data required for program to function is in single directory,so if you want to delete it,you just delete directory and that's it. |
