Advise from the experienced wanted.
I've had a successful website running for about 5-6 years now. It's a social networking site, and the content is mostly user generated. My background is primarily development although I do have some marketing experience.
For the past 6-12 months the traffic has dropped quite a bit. Sales and signups are down about 40-50%. I don't have a lot of working capital to invest in marketing. I've got a million ideas and not sure which way to go. Without taking out a business loan/investor (which may be a possibility after I can get some ROI data) what would you recommend I put my existing capital towards A. Social Media B. SEO/Link-Building C. Investing in functionality/design (semi-lacking but usable) D. Pay Traffic, Banner Ads, Plugrush etc. E. Traditional Media (very limited due to adult status) I know there's quite a few successful business owners in here, so I'd love to hear your how you would handle this situation. If I'm missing some important info to assist please feel free to ask or message me privately. |

SEO can probably make you return your lost traffic or even multiply it. Think of that.
