all is good there, just no smoking of marihuana, they are paranoic there, poor slovak people ... enjoy anyway and dont forget the restaurant on the bridge tower!

Was there 2 weeks ago, first time in summer, way better then you would imagine! Enjoy it, but I would skip the restaurant over the bridge, its fancy, but overprices, and I know a couple of guys that got food intoxication there :-(

But I like the women in Prague (my old hometown) and Bucharest (my new hometown) more!

you can have fun there - the old center is pretty small though

El Gaucho has excellent steaks

Rio Grande is one of the popular bars/clubs

Le Club is the other

everything directly at Hviezdoslavovo námesti

yes, i mean the views, and that it have been used in few movies, but have been not eating there ...

Was born there and live there.

Prepare to drink real beer and see hot chicks all around.

Good restaurants:
- Lemon Tree
- Rio
- FouZoo
- Primi
- Altitude (located in the TV tower "Kamzik" on the hill above the city - beautiful views from there, great food and not pricey)

As for the bridge restaurant, UFO, it is listed as one of the best in the whole country, though if you just want to overlook the city, you don't need to eat in the restautant, there is also a separate bar and a deck on top for the views.

For a good affordable taxi service call "VB taxi" # 18158

You really sure they got intoxicated in that restaurant? Maybe it was the bar, but still strange.

It's one of the best restaurants around and they would get into serious trouble if that happens..

Very nice city, night life is good and as you've heard, the woman are outstanding, well some of them at least. I've been shooting there for the past 6 years or so. There's a reason I keep going back
