I thought he was a lunatic but as I continued to read and look at his language... I started to think somehow info darker was at work. The curious thing to me was that I mentioned going to the shoot with him and he called me a liar, saying he'd done one outside shoot and he correctly identified the one we went to. I described a lot about the shoot and showed pics of us there and it felt to me like he really didn't remember - and it really felt like something was going on there like early Alzheimer's or dementia or something.... but maybe he was betting I didn't have pics in his bullshit. But overall, he did seem like maybe he couldn't recall things for real. Generally, the innocent deny and liars explain. He didn't offer long winded explanations and rationalizations, he basically denied and nothing more... then continued to deny no matter what facts were presented... then his final argument was "you weren't important enough to remember" which again would be consistent with early signs of memory impairment.... as he could only admit in the end hat he didn't remember it and sought to explain/rationalize that fact. |
