What do you use for your Telephone / Voip / 1-800 solution?
Hey all, quick question:
What do you use for your Telephone / Voip / 1-800 solution? I've been using Ring Central for a while now but the audio quality is bad pretty often and they seem really over priced. I still have a hard phone but am looking for soft-phone alternatives too. Any suggestions?

Verizon for home phone, Vonage for business lines, and just changed from Sprint to AT&T for mobile. Love them all.

I'm using voip.ms, the quality is good, and 85 cents a month (plus under a penny/minute) is hard to beat.

Neither did I until I bought one of these. The thing once set up just works. It's like the Apple Mac of PBX

Same here - Vonage for 10 years. But we have realized that in the past weeks, the call quality is getting worse.

I dumped Vonage after 14 years ... For my personal/business use. They did release my phone number to my new carrier however T-mobile -- they suck BTW. Turns out they store their personally identifying data at Experian - who got hacked the week after changing the service to T-mobile. T-mobile works well in Europe where I travel often ... T-mobile is a German company.
HTC+bluetooth speakerphone takes up a lot less space. People used to bitch about the old deskphone/speakerphone -- some bitch about the new set up -- fuck 'em. I tell them I am recording their call like their automated AI phone system says it is recording me -- that chills them out fast LOL Fight fire with fire ... I hate phones anyway but they are convenient at times. We (the company) have our own SIP/VOIP servers with interfaces with telcom common carriers. SIP is encrypted so unless you are a government agency you cannot subpoena the keys. There is no possibility of interception without government involvement -- nothing much ( ![]() |
