2 days ago, I received an demand from a customer on my Iphone. I log in quick in my CCBill admin panel : I need to create a new payment join form.

After 3 tries in a row, with their damn mega slow server, it just doesn't work.I get a little upset and ask their live help to create a new flex form join page for me.

The first thing the tech does is not helping me, it is verifying my passport last 4 digits cause he "doesn't want to change my account without verifying that it is me".

I do not have my fucking 4 digits pass and I am not asking to change my bank info I am asking to create a new join form because their server doesn't work correctly and on top of that, I am logged into my own CCBill admin panel. Its not like if I called them on the phone or something.

I was pissed off. Really not impressed.

Didn't want to panic, but this month conversion rate is 1:15000. This is abnormal. Last month was 1:1650. ALmost 10 times worse. Just like that. It never happened . I've never seen such bad numbers.

I dont always understand why people blame the billers for poor ratios. Ever think that the majority of ccbill sites and programs are no longer updating and dated pieces of garbage? Any new company that is still doing big things has their own processor because there is no longer the profit margin to afford paying that type of processing fee. And they can afford to pay for nats, etc

They don't steal sales. And surfers aren't leaving the signup page because theyre afraid of ccbill

Seems like alot of traffic being sent to the wrong place.

This is partially true what you said. In my case I don't have time to clean bad sponsors, even have tons of dead links,etc. But , there is something else: there are bad periods that suddenly come back to normal. Nothing so extreme didn't happen in structure and sponsors, that it could be 8 times worse period then previous month. Usually, somewhere around 15th, sales start coming back to normal. I am noticing these patterns for years without changes on sponsor

There are reasons for everything, if you have patterns, perhaps sponsors maintain updates on the same day each week, causing sales days to be grouped as well?

Or perhaps there are weeks in the month more likely for sales? due to personal bills (mortgage/rent/etc), etc

Or youre just referring to very normal declines and peaks, which is just how sales are overall. Sometimes bigger peaks than others due to holidays/seasons, or just bad luck etc. When you aren't getting hundreds of sales a day, youre dealing with a small sample size and a massive decline one day/week isn't abnormal

Theres reasoning for everything and its not them being afraid of signing up with ccbill and its not them stealing sales.

I ve never told they are stealing sales or I would think about something like that. Form affiliate perspective I don't know is credit card denial rate increased and people are rejected. I am carefully watching my stats and I know precisely what what can be expected and what is normal or not.

it never happened that conversion with ccbill is 1:15 000 with my traffic, mostly SE (in this moment). I am in this business for almost a decade. Not blaming ccbill, just mentioning current situtaion. Would be good to hear do other webmasters feel big changes compared to previous period. that is all. thanks

Well if denials are not up in those instances, then that would be the only scenario. I can't remember CCBill's affiliate admin, do they not show denials? As somebody who runs paysites, my stats are the same in that there are major ups and downs and strange weeks and in those strange days/weeks, there is no rise in denials. Its simply how it is. And its the same for any other ccbill program i talk to.

Perhaps CCBill should show denials to affiliates (if they currently do not), to put their rest to worry
