Hello everybody,

Over the last few days I have been working on an API which would allow other webmasters & developers to be able to query data from any sites in our Free Tubes network easily.

Now, I was finally able to get a first version up and running along with the documentation a few minutes ago so I am presenting the API to you guys. You can check out the documentation at beardedperv.com/api/

Please note that at the moment, only the XML output is properly supported.

I would be very grateful if you could give me some feedbacks or suggestion about it. I am trying to make this API as easy to use as possible so do not hesitate to comment on anything, from the API itself to the documentation.

Fantastic, json would be good (personal preference) but i can see you guys might be working on that. Some documentation on error responses would be handy because i'll just be catching exceptions at this stage.

I'll throw a script together and give it a workout

Returning "Failed to save data to memcached" when requesting the max 1000 video's. at 100 videos a request it worked great.

Hello, thanks for your replies. I've set the maximum to 500 for this server, we will make it higher on our more stable servers

We're starting with BeardedPerv but once the API meets the general needs, we will replicate it on our other tube daporn.com

As far as the JSON version goes, it is in the making

I was also thinking of making some small guides on how to use the API with some WordPress plugins such as CyberSEO... Would this be something that other webmasters might find interesting? Are there any specific plugins for which I should look for to make a small guide ?
