PhpMyAdmin issues at host

I seem to be going around in circles with an fairly new issue on a Win10 computer with the latest Firefox they can not duplicate. Same computer worked fine until a short time ago.

Current PhpMyAdmin version is 3.4.10.1. I get an error "#1103 incorrect table name" when trying to do an "inline edit". Error message goes away on its own, I can change values, but I can not save edits. I can do "changes" and save them but not through "inline edits".

Should I demand that my host update the PHPMyAdmin to the more current 4+ version or is this older version more stable (beside this issue)?

Tried researching the issue on my own and I find nothing helpful to me.

Very annoying!

It's pretty easy to install you could even do it yourself , but you could always try Chrome or another browser and see if that works.

Try clearing your cookies/browser cache or try using a different browser.

Been there done that on the cookies and cache.

Workaround on another browser works, but if you have a new drive, fresh install of legit win 10 pro and Firefox, you should not need a work around on such a popular program.

Can anyone speak for the version issue?

Try reinstalling firefox? It doesn't sound like an issue with PHPMA to me. Newer version of it might help especially if you are going v3 to v4 but I do think the issue is something in your browser.
