You know damn well that if Pornhub started putting up movies from Disney and Universal Pictures on their index page they'd be shut down permanently in less than a week and everyone would go to jail for one violation or another, regardless of DMCA. Govt doesn't give a shit if it's porn guys getting hurt. I've never fully understood how that works.

To get added protection from government you have to pay for it. I am no expert on how that works, but I am sure politicians don't want money from porn producers and I don't know if porn producers have the money.

I'm aware of that. I just don't know the specific legal mechanism Disney et al use to prevent this from happening, and I'm too lazy to look it up. I'll get around to it eventually though.

They would sometimes follow DMCA. But a lot of times not. I'd say we got about 10% of our DMCA requests followed through on.
