hahaha, that is desperate. Even in Holland they had to change that a few years ago cause it cost too much. Now students get some money when they go to college or university and must take a loan (or job) they can pay back when they have a job. Else they don't have to pay it back after 20 years i think. And the max payback per month is a % of the income you have.

Parents have to support their children, but they have to do that already if they make way less than 125.000.

I don't believe this. But everybody should have the opportunity to study.

First of all. Low income students are still eligible for Pell Grants, which can pay for all your tuition and books.

Whats the difference?

If you are taking 12 to 15 credit hours, when do you have fucking time to work to support yourself (room & board) if you don't live off your parents dime?

Plus, this is a complete slap in the face to everyone else who has racked up student debt already.

The only ones who benefit from this are cheap ass parents or those who have cheap ass parents who don't want to pay for college when they make too much money and their child doesn't qualify for Pell Grants.
