Why do most Americans say 'I could care less' - It's 'I COULDN'T care less'...

lol agreed. 'math' is another one for me. Surely it's the shortened form of mathematics, and not of 'mathematic', no?
At least they are actually the correct US versions of the word/phrase... nowhere near as bad as using 'his' instead of he's, and 'could of' instead of could have, though... those 2 are just fucking shocking to see used so much by so many people. lazy grammar (hello!) I can live with, but fuck, those 2 examples are surely about as basic as it gets  |
