Former President Barack Obama acknowledged that Breitbart News changed the media narrative during the 2016 election.

It's not really the acknowledgement that's interesting but his intentions to remove the power of alt news. So much for having a healthy opposition and more news sources.

If he could pick there wouldn't be a breitbart and Hillary Clinton would be president today. Just shows how corruption and undemocratic voices are spreading as long as it doesn't go establishment's way.

Then along comes the alternative web media. They don't have the market penetration, but social media sharing and "trending" lists puts the alt media into the mainstream...... and that was a big problem for the left.
