The FED/Central Banks already bought out founders of the two largest coins. They've taken control and it's obvious that computer algorithms are running the show. This is not a free market. Hedge with some alt coins.

The penny shit coins is where it's at now...psychology says new investors will want to buy cheap shit...also whales will want to diversify and cheap shit coins are a no brainier for them...Bitcoin is too big to inflate but altcoins are not...I call them shit coins...

IMO you will see more money if you sell your BTC and buy lots of various penny coins and go long...an alt can grow 100% in one day but BTC can't...

People will move to Alt and BTC will have a much smaller cap...

I agree with the psychology. We are still above the 21 DEMA. The high today is $17364, and a move above that is another buy signal. The trend is still up. I would hedge, but it's not time to sell. If that line is broken, there are always futures and options contracts to hedge positions with as well.

People look at only numbers and not the chart. There is nothing scary about this chart. A consolidation here between $15-$20k is very bullish. The yellow line is momentum, blue line is trend. Nevertheless, I hate the FED/Central Banks and institutions taking control over everything with their algorithmic trading computers. Look into some alt coins and invest in them as well. Don't forget FOOD, WATER, GAS, and PRECIOUS METALS for when the shit hits the fan.

It's not crashing. Crashing would mean everyone is trying to sell and there are no buyers and the price drops to a few dollars.

When it reached $14K it started going up again to almost $15K, that would never happen in a real crash.

It's definitely going down but not crashing, it's just getting the long overdue correction. Happened many times before in the past years.

Keep in mind that LESS than a month ago it was only $8K

It's 13.5k now sadly, but I think Bitcoin is taking a breather after a stressful 2017.
It's time to buy at least 1 BTC and see it go to 30k mid 2018 and 50k at the end of 2018.

So here is the current spread:

If it was a real crash, Coinbase would be down and you wouldn't be able to do shit while the institutions are selling.

I do have to agree with this. BTC has become a popular asset for most people to try out stocks and shares and feel they´re involved.

Some people just spent 50 quid on them and have doubled their money, normal people, university and college people...

hoping we´re right or i´ll end up losing. a shame as I was going to sell last week and between then and now I´d have a lot more money, but hey, either way, there´s still more than it was a month ago when it was 8k

If you plan to put your money somewhere I would suggest something that targets the largest market share. All that money is going to end up somewhere.. Place your bets everyone.

just the money I'm willing to play with on the coins. No not my total worth, I'm not daft. I'm learning this so I'm not stupid enough to lose more than I can afford.

For those that bought at bottom, or near bottom, kudos to you for buying the dip. Buying when the panicky fuckers are saying "the sky is falling" and running around pulling out hair.

Those who bought at the bottom, or near bottom, deserve the financial gains or wealth they have coming
