Exactly. I think a good chunk of people that buy these buy them as status symbols or for the cool factor and they don't really give a shit about the supposed environmental benefits.

To me it's a bit like having a Rolex. If you are lucky enough to be in the position of owning a Rolex, you just wear it... Perhaps you might lean on the bar with that hand, or let the sleeve ride up slightly in the presence of some ladies, but that's OK. Its subtle, discreet and a 'tasteful' flaunting of wealth...
