I'm not sure I agree with all of his view points but one thing is for certain, he is absolutely open minded about all of his views. He always suggests that his viewpoints or opinions not only could be based on possible ignorance but could even change if something clear and proven is brought to light in either his research or something that is shown to him but one thing is clear, he doesn't put up with peoples whiny bullshit.

It's unfortunate that some alt-right people cherry pick his words and miss a lot of the point of his lectures but it doesn't take away from what he is saying. He is not just standing up for things like free speech to be an apologist for people with hateful views, he instead talks about the things that drive people to this hate in the first place--which is a much more important question. He holds accountable the people with unrealistic politically correct views when it attacks the very basis of the language itself and I have a hard time disagreeing with him when he does it.

Generally people are only threatened by his words because they are either not listening to the full message or they are too dense to understand it completely but in time the importance of his lectures will be remembered for generations I'm sure. Is he a little arrogant? Sure, but he is attacked often and has had to defend his words constantly, even to protect his job and reputation and has done it with flying colours for the most part.

The right is assending Peterson to deity status because Trump is so unstable you need something to latch onto that is seen as falling in line with your far-right "ideals", Peterson happily does that because he's a self-absorbed egotistical media whore, they exist on the left as well there's nothing special about them no matter what you project on to them.

Again, the right is latching on to Peterson to give their followers some sense of intellectualism in the midst of them supporting a failed ideology that they see crumbling before their eyes.

I think he is one of the voices of reason, and listening to him is a breath of fresh air.

A true powerhouse who is neither on the left or right, but someone trying to make things better for everyone. That is rare these days.

He's a scientist who's also incredibly knowledgeable and his videos/podcasts are worth paying for.

^^ this is an example of what I was talking about. You will watch a 2 minute youtube clip from your highly slanted youtube subscriptions suggested viewings but miss out on the entire conversation or lecture that explains the full thought.

Where you believe he is 'slaying sjw's' he is actually elaborating on a point of view that serves as a possible explanation as to why people are perpetually outraged in the first place. Peterson is not a sound bite. Check out his lectures, read his books and maybe you will find things within yourself that could benefit from a different focus.

I have watched hours of his debates and lectures, and what I said still stands. He slays them. I'm not some hardcore right winger, I'm actually a common sense liberal..not a leftist.

That is actually one of the points he made, if you shut down discussion (which is a trademark behavior today - like when campuses are burned in order to avoid discussion and everybody with opposing view demonized and censored), you're giving no other option than for rivalry, why should the other side submit to you.

Which is where the regressive discourse of today is inevitably heading.

Yeah, I have been following him very closely since his first appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast. Unlike some other people one thing I really like about him is if he is confronted with a question he doesn't know enough about he will flat out say he doesn't know enough and is looking to learn more about it.

I also enjoy listening to Ben Shapiro, while I don't agree with a lot of his stances (namely pro life) I do find it appalling that he cannot even go onto campus's anymore because we basically allow people who have different views to make threats of violence and instead of letting police and lawmen do their jobs to protect free speech they just shut the events down. The guy is an orthodox Jew and is labeled as a Nazi. Is this really the way we are going?

I'm not a follower of Ben Shapiro, found him a little bit self righteous from what I saw, but seems like a very well educated guy who knows his facts, and a sharp debater that is able to back up his arguments. I figure that's also the reason why the mainstream media do not invite him much since he could end up making them look like fools.

The college campus insanity is disturbing on so many levels, I couldn't imagine that it's real thought it's some sort of fake news, but since this is documented by actual police and appears over and over I figured that these insane SJW outbursts really happen.

Also saw some videos first hand when they didn't allow people in the class that came because they wanted to listen to somebody that these "protesters" oppose. Not sure what these liberofascists think they're doing but I guess we're not too far from actual book burning.
