I'm not looking for "liberals suck" etc etc or any tired shit like that, actually looking to see if any democrat has any ideas about how to improve it. I don't know any politicians there, only one prospective state rep, so me knowing won't really help, but I'd like to hear ideas if anyone has them.

Last time I was there was about a year ago, and only in the aquarium quarter. That used to be a place you could walk at night - just that 6 block area, but now even that is off limits. There is a really good steakhouse there about a block off the aquarium.

I'm not a democrat, but I'll toss in a suggestion.

Providing more actual resources (not abortion clinics) and decent education (not all this LGBTQUXYZ stuff) into those areas in Baltimore still in the beginning phase of crawling out of the apartheid style segregation there would help.

No leftard or rightard solution will help that city. Only a common sense one. Which America seems to be lacking since trump...

It's kinda strange to me, I've been through Baltimore many, many times I've also been all around Detroit. The areas Ive been look as normal as any city. Same with Chicago, I've been all over Chicago and it looks like any other big city to me..

IMO I think its "parts" of the cities which give the entire place the bad rep. The thing is every major city is gonna have low income crime areas. The diffrence between the 3 cities mentioned is they have massive populations making the crime levels elevated

You can go to Dallas or Houston, Miami, LA ect..etc and see the same types of crimes, gang activity, drugs ect.

I can be straight up and say I've been in areas of Dallas that felt more dangerous than Baltimore or Chicago oh and New Orleans... fuck that..

Also while I won't say its not reality, but I've never seen the city blocks of burnt up houses and what not in Detroit that you always see in these youtube documentaries.. Yet I've seen entire down towns of hole in the wall Texas that were vacant and falling apart..

To me I think a lot of this is fake outrage from the right trying to push their hate agenda.
