This is extremely damming news for Trump.. There zero upside for Trump so I dunno why you think this is a bragging moment..
1) If Mueller was forced out over the report that is damming for both Barr & Trump and more obstruction of justice.. 2) If Mueller resigned because he felt Barr lied to the American people and is abusing his power to protect Trump then that is damning for Barr /Trump 3) If Barr/Trump was trying to stop Mueller from testifying to Congress and Mueller felt so strongly about testifying that he had to resign from his decades old post in order to testify.. Well that is damning for Trump/Barr. There is no "good" news here for Trump no matter what the reason it's bad for Trump..

I'm going to say it again, don't count on Mueller to save the day with his testimony
 Mueller didn't save the day with his report he was purposely ambiguous. Mueller didn't charge Trump jr., even though he said he's guilty, because he said Trump Jr. didn't know any better. That's not what someone who's by the book and following legal guidelines does. |
