the user who did this job on the site: euro1988
"and denies" messing up what was completely normal.. He went around so many different avenues to make this site look bad, (he put in the effort, but the output was pure shiat.....) It's beyond comprehension when you tell someone who is doing work to do it a certain way that is not going to be half ass (even though he has done work and I've always tried to help) he then says it was only little offered.. that is why he broke the site |

such a sad way to end an otherwise very good worker's reputation! He just performed low 'karma' work... it was not worth taking my $15. When he said, "i have 10 minutes time left" to me while he was destroying the work was the ultimate slap in the face just a kind a shit person!

no.. It is a very very bizarre issue.
Thankfully i was able to get it working with Updraft... it was almost a nightmare. The whole style.css or theme editor (yellow pencil) was edited and it just pushed the menus (which aren't fixed) and boxes (fixed) all over like a huge mess but that has been fixed. The issue that I needed fixed was this theme editor severely and seemingly permanent changed the menus on this theme.. to where even when after all plug-ins 'disabled' the menu still kept the same settings as when this theme editor was activated. Get this.. i re-installed the theme after we "called it a day" and to try to fix his work and guess what... The theme *Still* remained as if the style.css was not touched.. it is fucking unbelievable! you might think it has something to do with caching... well, cloudflare and all has been reset and this menu style (even after he stopped working on and I had to fix everything, by using an original untouched style.ccs) is stuck in cement and it is officially, "like this un-solved" bermuda triangle where no answer can be found as to, Why or, How. |

But you didn't have much rep to destroy anyways, ya know? Just my opinion but you have not been very coherent here while he was quite concise in his reply. You state in one place that he messed up a site that was "completely normal" and in another place you indicate that you hired him because the site was screwed up. Both of those statements cannot be true at the same time. Well, it appears that you embarked on the trip without looking at a map. . |

The site's aesthetics were "normal" in the beginning because; I had to disable two menus
By disabling both primary and the secondary menu, everything was absolutely just mint condition, perfect.. Now, i had him go fix a menu and he did other design damage (not sure why/ or how) that i later had to fix and it was all because updraft happened to have a working backup is how the site is back looking normal again! Does that make enough sense to you? All in this process, i gave $10+ just to have to fix my own site and i get shit talked to too..He had refunded 5 back after me making a 'dispute' which I really loathe! |

Which was very "reasonable"! But I really needed this menu fixed. Nobody here offers value! only a few really cool people behind the scenes...
It's more of a value-taking forum i presume.. Solutions, not bask in the issue because I may have fixed it but the purpose was, i was getting completely slapped around for nuthin' |

Dude, in previous threads you have gotten a ton of very valuable advice that you have disregarded because you know better than everybody else.
Now you want us to care that you had to spend $10 on an issue that you cannot even coherently describe? And you want to affect someone's reputation over it? Sounds like you did not know what the issue was. He (Euro guy) probably did not either but said he would go in and look around and see what he could do in an hour. (Just so you know, most issues take longer than an hour to figure out and fix). Stll, this is what it is sounding like to me, he went in to poke around and while in there something got changed that created other issues and at that point you went pretty berserk and started accusing him of being on speed, etc. And your solution was to go to a back up which means you still have not gotten the issue solved, you have lost the one person you found that was willing to help you and you are out $10.00. Do I have that straight? Or did I misss something like maybe you huffing some spray paint somewhere in there? Like the other threads you created, you wasted someone else's time and didn't accomplish squat. .. |

The reason is that, the most obvious things to the human brain are not so obvious.. Especially when a smart European could not fix what on the "naked" view-point is so simple What is your recommended action to solve an almost 'unseemingly like' problem which would be fixed in simply one click? What is it here |

Even for the best expert, if they have not encountered the issue before, it might take quite a few hours to figure out exactly what to click on to fix it with one click. . |

Could it be that you don't know shit about what you are talking about and/or doing and that it might behoove you to shut your mouth and listen and read and research and learn? Site is still there. After years of branding he changed the girl's names and fucked up his SEO pretty good. Camgirls was another one, had a killer domain and ended up leasing it to someone. Not sure if he finally lost the domain or if he kept it and finally learned to be cool or what. . |

Figuring outr the issue is not "spoonfeeding". Investigation is a legitimate part of any job. Every site is different even if they are all Wordpress based, they are different. Diffrent hosts, different plugins, different versions of WP, different versions of PHP, different versions of Databases, So, to figure out an issue a person might have to go through turning plugins on and off and observing the results. If done properly they will try to limit their changes to the smallest number of variables on each change. That takes physical time. Shouldn't they get paid for it? And shouldn't they be paid based on their expertise? Knowing how to de-bug properly (which is what we are talking about here) is a skill that takes a long time to learn and even longer to master. Pretty much anybody can write code, not everybody can debug. . |
