There is a big difference between my house and this guys. So let me clarify - for people who would continue with their daughter doing this - then use the illustration provided in my post.

In my house - If my daughter wanted to make 2k a month then she pretty damn well should earn it helping ease my wife's day out by learning to do daily chores - from laundry to dishes to lawn care etc. In my house - kids don't get a free ride - the value of money is important and we teach them that from the first dollar. Savings and budgeting - working and doing chores around the home. We are preparing them to move out on their own at 18 - by then they'll learn how to get a job - how to budget for what they want - learn how to look after themselves and their own place (apartment). If they start learning that OF is a means then where is the lesson in that? no work ethic - basically spoiled brats who won't last past 35. You're depending on your looks only. (NOTE: this isn't a slam to OF models - your life/your choice - I am not responsible to parent you - only my kids.

My wife and I in turn have set up monthly payment plans so when they go to college/university they'll have it covered. Also we've set up bank accounts for each one that we deposit monthly so they'll have even more assets along with a good credit history with bank (included with this is money earned from their out of home job they will start at 16 and save on their own).

Finally - we set up insurance policy for each one so that when they are older they can take that over should they wish - since it was begun at birth - then any condition even cancer that shows up later won't count against the policy. It's there's to chose what and where it goes.

The story with this guy - I was only offering a solution in his situation since he seemed okay with it - and that the main problem wasn't that the daughter was doing OF but that the father was sexually attracted to her and he needs to be taken out of the picture entirely. If mom says no - then it's the parents together making the decision not just one.

Generally I try to answer questions like this by being empathetic and put myself in that families position. It was the only solution for them - as for me and my house - I know my kids and their ethics including work/money - they would never do that.
