Business PayPal business account frozen - GoFuckYourself.com

My PayPal business account was frozen today.

Stupidly, I'd allowed quite a sum to have built up in it.

In order to restore my account, I need to give a tonne of information, including on my clients (sponsors), and the nature of my business (adult affiliate marketing).

I guess I don't have much chance if I have to give them links to my tranny porn blogs and sponsors.

From what I've read, I will get my money back after 180 days, even if they don't restore my account or close it, so that's something.

I posted this in an old thread on PayPal, but for some reason, it appears the mods deleted it or the whole thread.

That's really a shame, I hope you're able to get it back.

For anyone else using PayPal for... well, anything... I highly recommend auto daily deposits to your checking account. You can also have it auto convert currency.

Using PayPal for adult is not a good idea , I got my account restricted a few weeks ago and I have had one for 20 years , took me 15 min to get it back tho I was easily able to provide what they wanted.

I don’t use PayPal for anything adult related tho

Whatever Program is paying you through PP I would ask them if there is another option. Good for you that you have a substantial amount there but having to wait six months to get it back....

Also: when talking to PayPal and they require your Sponsors tell them the web/corporate name of the Sponseo, not 'TrannyDicks.com' or whatever. Most Programs will have their checks/payouts sent under the corporate or LLC name so I would use that name when talking to PayPal. Good luck!!

This is how Paypal makes money...it was created by scammers and is being still run by scammers. Better to stay away, but if you have to use them, never leave any money there.

Not really, as in that case they would take money. They always give money back,no matter what kind of violation you do.

Yes there was some sponsor probably didn't bother to think when writing description and that caused algorithm to mark account.

In their guidance for answering the 'Explain how your business works' section, they specifically ask for links to websites. But like you say, I will try just with the business names first, and maybe they won't ask for anything more.

Yes, I will have a big tax bill to pay soon for 2023 and it might be difficult without selling some of my stock portfolio now.

Unfortunately some big programs only offer Paypal and Check. So EU affiliates have no other option than Paypal. Naughty Revenue, Jules Jordan, Adult Empire Cash for example.

It's a tricky game for affiliates today, particularly when one is promoting many programs, to balance the "payment" act.

Americans now have issues with Paxum. PayPal is always walking on the edge of a cliff. Not many programs offer direct deposit. Wires are typically an option with most affiliate programs, but with a $35-75 fee (sending and receiving for some,) the amount of payment becomes a big factor or it just doesn't make sense.

As an affiliate myself, I prefer direct deposit and Paxum. I don't use any sponsors that offer crypto, but I would probably take that as well as I do for hosting payments.

Unfortunately there aren't any good "all-purpose" answers that everyone is happy with. Maybe that will change in the future as/if crypto usage becomes more commonPlace.

The problem is that 90% of people are using paypal as the main way of paying!!

I am not talking about sponsors,they have alternative methods.

If what they want is just the AML KYC stuff, maybe one of the billing company folks can weigh in, but I kind of think you can just say x company paid me for marketing services (or whatever they paid for) for their site and here is how to contact them to verify this -- preferably nonadult contact info. As I understand it, at least in theory, they are trying to check to make sure you are not doing anything nefarious with the funds.

But, yeah, mixing adult with PayPal is not a great idea generally, unless you have special permission.

I had that happen to me, also.
It was frozen for 180 days.
Had a hefty sum on it, too.

Once 180 was up, it was a drag getting it out because you still had to call them and explain shit to them, and it wasn't just one call.

One of the ways you can get your money faster is if you have a few trusty clients that pay you.

Refund them the money, and let them know they pay it back on another account.

It's a drag but once PP gets you, they don't f around with their 180.

I try not to use PayPal when there is a choice, but I'm promoting a number of AI GF sites, and they tend to offer PayPal only. Also, I've been receiving payments from sex toy affiliates since 2010 with no problems.

I have a US attorney that helped another client with a similar situation. They are in San Francisco. The question, is it worth paying to get your money out of PP jail early. Leave your email in PM if that is a yes.
