Modernize GFY
Why isn't there just a hangout space where GFY'ers can share videos or photos with captions?
I love this forum, it brings together SO many different people and maniacs that have been involved in such a diverse and "vibrant" industry where the term "cum filled buttholes" is as common as hearing interest rates being discussed in a bank. Is there a "future" model for what a forum looks like? I love the model of logging in and being shown a list of forums, the whole "fucking around / off topic blog post" style base forum is the best. This is the place where dipshits, maniacs, and bosses can post their immediate thoughts, comments, or advertisements and have the peanut gallery weigh in. But what's the future of this? Or is this peak communication? I feel like the forum needs to be innovated. Why isn't there a tab with videos and images people have uploaded? I bet so many GFY'ers take super cool photos and make stupid fun videos and have nowhere to upload or show them off. Does anyone have any examples of what could be the future of GFY? Like is there an advanced 2024-model of "forum software" I'm not aware of? Don't get me wrong, I love GFY, the owners here enforce bans and censorship JUST enough that 99% of the bullshit is cut out and the conversation is always good, but I feel like the platform itself is due for an evolution. What do you think? Any suggestions? I haven't even tried to ever load GFY on my phone yet. I bet you can't upload photos or videos from your phone to GFY. I wish that were a thing because I bet many people here could share soooooo much fun and cool shit. p.s. Big respect to Harmon or Lensman or whoever runs this board. You're doing an amazing job, this place is one of my last connections to the online hustler industry and gives me a place I feel home. Thank you! |

GFY is great as it is, this thread is just theorizing what could be the future of a forum like this. What an amazing place this is, but there is no easy way to share photos and videos that don't involve a 3rd party. I have so much funny shit in photos and videos to share but the process of uploading video to YouTube first to embed it here is soooooooo annoying and takes forever. Photos I have to host at Imgbb and they are down pretty often. There is no way to search just photos and videos on here. I remember JFK I think who used to post SO many photos here of parties and there is no way to search for them or the people he took pics of. |
