Does anyone have one of those Roomba mop robot cleaners?

If so, are they any good? I have a combination of tile and wood in my place and honestly, I'm getting to the point where I'd rather not spend an hour or two every week mopping the floors. Would the Roomba be able to handle both wood and tile flooring those of you that have one? TIA.

The whole device seems pointless. If it's suitable for like 25-30m2 at most, and you gotta clean the thing and replace the fluid and everything every time it's used, then it will take you the same time to do all that as it will to actually manually clean your floor with a $15 mop. It doesn't even make sense if you were goign to run it once a week and clean it/refill it each time because then you'd have another 1/4 of the fluid evaporate during that week.

I like robot vacuums. I'm a huge fan. I've owned Neato and iRobot vacuums before. I recently purchased a used Roomba 8xx series for vacuuming. Nearly a decade old and still going strong!

It is incredibly helpful and has reduced the amount of vacuuming I do, although some is still necessary. If you understand that it's supplemental and not a replacement for actually cleaning, then it's absolutely worth it. The new models that have AIO vacuuming and mopping, with self-cleaning charging stations, are generally better received than single-use robots. iRobot is no longer king of the hill. Roborock and Dreame are much better in terms of hardware and software. For Dreame, you have L20/X40 and for Roborock the QRevo/S7/S8 is usually what is recommended. These are very expensive devices, so you need to be prepared for that kind of investment. Getting them at Costco is a smart decision, because once the warranty expires, repairs can be costly and difficult (and usually have to be done by you.) Costco will return/replace. There are privacy concerns, too. There are a few solutions for that, though. YMMV. If you have a router that allows you to firewall specific devices, then a guest network + isolation for the Roborock is one quick way to eliminate privacy concerns, but you do lose some of the features. If you use HomeAssistant, you can use Roborock with HA, and coupled with a router with some kind of isolation, you can get most of those features back. Finally, if you are unconcerned about warranties, and are very good at hardware, disassembly, and the like, you can use Valetudo: https://valetudo.cloud/pages/general...ml#roborock_s7

We have one floor robot running around doing the dry vacuuming, and as needed we use a corded wet brush Shark to clean/mop the floors.

We have the J9+ which is the vacuum only version without a mop. As a vacuum I am quite impressed, it does a good job and is not a toy at all.
