Heading to L.A. soon...! What's fun to do?
I'm heading back to LA for a couple of days over a weekend. I always, always, always make it a point to crawl the strip and drink, party, and drink some more, and I always make the Whiskey-a-gogo my primary destination. Can someone recommend some other cool bars and restrauants to check out while I'm there?

The Petersen is AMAZING!
Scum & Villany in Hollywood is a fun sci-fi themed restaurant & bar. They do karaoke on Thursdays. In the valley, Bob's Big Boy on Riverside has a cruise night every Friday. Towards the beach, I belive Copro Nason in Santa Monica still has their HEAVY METAL magazine group show up. And the big thing this weekend is Skate Oddity's Ozzy Osborne tribute night at Rob Foy Park/LA Kings Sport Center in Burbank. $20 to skate $7 skate rentals, free to sit in the stands and watch, plus there's craft vendors & food.
