Damn... no water barrels there? Seems like poor design for safety. Obviously, speeding doesn't help, but if this has been the site of other fatal crashes, seems a bit like the highway department was laxing on the safety issue of the concrete barrier here.

I really don't want to sound evil, but, I don't think you can safety net the world.
example: I had an Uncle that would get drunk, he ran into a tree 3 times. The same one twice. The third time it killed him. Was kind of relieved it was over and he didn't end up running into and killing another person.
