I bought a Sony Mavica (the kind that uses a floppy)


i must have some settings wrong, because it takes some crappy pics, lol

$750? don't get a mavica or some crap like that. get something like a canon digital elph (the most expensive one is $500), or a nikon 8300 or whatever it is. those are nice cameras, excellent quality, and pretty reasonably priced (under your limit).

I like my camera - sony dsc-s85 it is a 4.1 and is really cool.

Yea, check out the new Canon G3 - it kicks some major ass

You can use it in "point-n-shoot" mode or full manual mode - whichever your comfortable with.

If you can go a little more than $700, go for the Sony F717! You don't have to be a skilled photographer to get great results with it! I've take some pretty great pics with ours and I dont know shit about photography!
