This seemed so whacky that I combed the site looking for something to let me in on the joke but apparently there is no joke.

Here are some choice tidbits from their "Creation Science Fair" page, including some of the prize winning entries:

"This is also the first year that Muslim students from the Al-Jannah Islamic school have been invited to participate; two of their students presented a project on human anatomy entitled "Allah (SWT) Created Me" which, while it was found ineligible for a prize due to a number of Biblical inconsistencies, did win a special Interfaith Outreach ribbon."

(Elementary school level)
1st Place: "My Uncle Is A Man Named Steve (Not A Monkey)"
Honorable mention: "Pokemon Prove Evolutionism Is False"

(Middle school level)
2nd Place: "Women Were Designed For Homemaking"
Jonathan Goode (grade 7) applied findings from many fields of science to support his conclusion that God designed women for homemaking: physics shows that women have a lower center of gravity than men, <B>making them more suited to carrying groceries and laundry baskets</B>...

Honorable mention: "Thermodynamics Of Hell Fire"

If you want to have a big anti-Christian hatefest, please start your own thread. I happen to believe in a God and Creator but this site still strikes me as very silly.

Another interesting read is their objectives section. These people have a serious dislike for Landover Baptist (surprise).

They could just be doing that to give it credibility. Read their guest book. Most of the people in there think it is fake too.

It's possible. If the site is a joke, it must be one of the most time-consuming the internet has ever seen. Check out the staff page, the Game Theory page, the links, etc. The only really bogus looking thing on there is the Baby Jesus page.

My first thought was "Parody" but who puts that much <I>work</I> into a gag?
