Card Service Mother F******!!!!!!

These mofo's closed my merchant account ALL weekend long over a 73.00 debit that they screwed up on! I had to call my bank with them on three way so my bank could tell them they never rejected any 73.00 debit and that I have plenty in my account to well cover 73.00. They never called me and even said....Hey is there a problem? They just closed my account at midnight friday and then the dept who could reopen it was not in until today.

I called them and they are re-opening my account now and said "Sorry, I will investigate how this happened" SORRY???? That's IT???? How they hell can they close down someones business for NO good reason and then just say sorry!

What recourse can I take? Is it possible I can average the amount of business I do on weekends and make them compensate me? I can't believe they can just screw up and close someones buiness down for a whole flipping weekend! I paid them PLENTY of money in fees last year that I would LIKE to think that if there WERE a problem (a legitimate one or illegitimate one) they would at LEAST give me a call. On Saturday I said this to the guy and you know what his response was??? Oh, well you're a high risk merchant so that's why no one called you!!! If that's not discrimination I have no idea what would be! So, I pay HIGHER fees than regular merchants...yet I don't deserve the same respect??? Jesus Christ!

What can I do?

I doubt you have any recourse

they will give you some reaon why its visas rules bla bla bla

then if you ask to see those rules you will be told as part of your agreement you can not see those rules

if you were to see the rules your account would be terminated for seeing the rules..

merchant accounts can therefore make up whatever rules they want. then tell them to you and if you question it just turn you off.

Its one of the most fucked up buisness I have ever seen.

But I sure wouldnt mind ownin a biz like that.

just be thankfull that there is no long process or re activation fees. They fucked up, shit happens, it sucks.

Makemegrrrrowl. Depending on who your merchant account is with I might be able to help. These are tricky because they are on a case by case bases. Email the reason and reply of everything regarding the closeing of your account down over the weekend. I'll be in contact with you for better or for worse.

Just be glad you still have one. There are plenty of people who want adult merchant accounts and cant get them as of about a month ago. No fees to re-instate is a good deal!

Still got my eyes and ears open for an adult merchant account for my US corp. Any ideas feel free to hollar. And no my volume is not $100k a month.
