my dads ole buddy
they were best freinds for a long time till he started dating my mom
she wouldnt let him come around, or let my dad go around him
(dunno why)
but the poor guy died the other day
my father hadnt seen him in years on end
the last time he saw him i was with him, he begged my dad to come by and see him sometimes and that hi missed him

well its a sad story and makes me feel bad just imagining how my fater must feel

then when we went to the wake today
it made me feel realy bad
a whole maybe 10 people showed up
one was the guys mother
a few were her friends that didnt even realy know him
me my dad and one other guy that was friends with him

it breaks my heart to see that someone could die so lonley
its like the only people who cared about him you could count on one hand

i was asked to help carry his body for tomorrow and accepted

there arent even enough people to carry him to the hole

that made my heart sink

poor guy

i hope i never end up like that

why on earth would your dad let your mom get in the way?

the second a woman told me to stop being friends with someone i would leave them,

but i also know people who have died lonely, very very sad indeed, just imagine how majority of elders feel in homes.

made me rethink some things
kinda feel like doing something nice for someone today

im sure for every person out there that are in situations like that that people know of there are a hundred more

but there isnt much that can be done

got alot on my mind today

ya, your story actually made me feel kinda down also, thats one thing i hate is when people feel lonely, my father worked out of town for 13 years and let us stay in our main city so my sister and i wouldnt have to move around. imma phone the big guy now.
