I went to a private show last night and it was so fucking loud. Those of you who are cooler than me and go to concerts more often: if your ear is still ringing the next goddamn morning, how long does it take to get better?

you shouldn't have stood so close to the speaker. thats weird its still ringing.... i blew a firecracker right next to my ear once and my ears were ringing for like an hour but stopped.

don't worry too much yet... give it a few days.. stop thinking about it..

if it's still with you.. welcome to the world of tinnitus. i have to wear $100 earplugs AND ear muffs to go to gigs because i fucked my ears up with loud music.. please take this oppotunity/scare to look after your ears next time.. ALWAYS wear earplugs at gigs.. hell even movies are fucking loud as fuck now.. I can tell you right now if i could go back in time and wear 10inch dildo ear plugs at gigs i would to stop the constant 24/7 ringing in my ears.. i actually had to leave the last webmaster meet we had here when we re-located to a club because it was too loud.. don't let your ears get that screwed.. there isn't a lot of things worse than never having silence ever again and having to sleep with a fan on next to your head to drown out the ringing.

I know that seems kinda silly - but it's unlikely that you've got tinnitus if you never really go out and see bands and all that sort of stuff, really you've just done a bit of damage and they're agitated.. it should calm down..
im scaring you so that next time you go prepared... not enough people know how easy it is to damage your ears.. you're told "you'll go deaf" but it comes across as an old wive's tale and a far off happening when you're 50 or 60 and you might not be able to hear the grandkids as well as the other grandparents or something.. they don't tell you you can get constant ringing in your ears as a twenty-something.. hell you could get it as a teen if you were in a band or something.

If it's still with you on monday book in to see an audiologist.. i didn't know I had borderline hearing loss until i noticed the ringing and did just that.

Just have a nice sleep for 12 hours and it will stop. You will feel better. Yes, dont forget to have some beer.
