Everywhere you live there are trade offs.
In Cali, you get the nice weather (compared to most other areas of the country) almost year round. Nothing like 300 days of sunshine versus rain, snow, fog, insane humidity, etc. I'd sill choose Cali over that shit.  |

Conversely, nothing much happens up here near the geographical center of N America (the bellybutton of N America if you will), unless you don't like snow, viciously cold winters, squadrons of mosquitos in summer, and massive flood conditions once every 50 years or so.
Speaking of that, if Winnipeg is the bellybutton of N America, then when looking at the map it would appear that Florida would be it's dick. That would make California the... ass? No wonder the winds are so devastating. :D
