COPS is nothing more than a propaganda tool for law enforcement. Watching COPS one would think everytime a car is searched drugs are found when nothing is further from the truth. The fact is only 1 in 5 searches turn up anything but if the show actually showed this people would be up in arms with this police state.

Who the hell would want to watch COPS if they did not bust someone? That is what makes the show worth watching. The idiots would run are the best. Just because you watch COPS does not mean you believe all cars that are pulled over have drugs or something illegal in them. It is just a show.

i like it when they do something unimaginable, like there was this episode where some guy, after being chased for 5 minutes at high speeds, decided to pull into his own driveway, step out, walk as casual as he can hoping that the cops would go "hey, look at him, he's not acting suspiciously at all, we must have followed the wrong car after one of those wild turns......" -lol

The only reason I won't watch it is because I can't stand hearing cop radios. I have rarely had a pleasant encounter with police officers, so hearing those obnoxious radios bring back memories that make me cringe.

I do a 10-hour ride-along with the San Diego Police Department every year--it's always fun. Some of the rides are like a DisneyLand E-Ticket rides.

These cops are so good at multitasking---very impressive!

Hate to say this but if 1 in 5 searches turned up drugs or someting they would not spend as many hours in the cars as they do.

They film HUNDREDS of hours to get 1 episode.
