limit yourself to a certain number of hours in a day. If it's 8 hours, break'em up into 4 hour shifts. Get some offline/out of the house hobbies, hang out with friends more, read books or whatever it is that you enjoy in your spare time.

When I get depressed - I grab the Nikon and hit the nature trails for a few hours. Fresh air and change of scenery clears the head and helps restore a bit of perspective.

And sometimes I score a decent pic or two along the way.
