What does google consider to be excessive link exchanging? - GoFuckYourself.com

Just looking at their help pages and every time I see the following i wonder how many link exchanges you would have to have to be considered excessive:

"Excessive reciprocal links or excessive link exchanging ("Link to me and I'll link to you.")"

i think on small scale its fine, on a large scale its different

somebody else jump in here, but i wouldnt think you would get any link juice/benefit from those links unless google flagged them as a bad neighborhood, then you may get a penalty

Just make sure it's natural looking, obviously a site with 100 link exchanges and zero normal links is going to look suspicious...

I was guessing that. I doubt that any of my sites are too much but just something that has crossed my mind whenever I see that line on their help page.
